I started our sister company So Cherished in 2020, creating keepsake jewellery and 3D casts mainly for babies and children. I also began casting pregnancy bumps. Many mummies-to-be voiced how empowered they felt during and following the casting experience, expressing the enjoyment they felt capturing such a special and important period of their lives. I quickly realised I wasn’t just creating a keepsake, but helping to build confidence and promoting celebration of the female body. This, coupled with having spent many years myself obsessing over my own body image, only really accepting and appreciating how incredible my body really is once I had given birth to my second child, released my desire to encourage others to accept themselves and appreciate their bodies.
